Hi there,
I've been having some issues trying to get an acetone spectrum and would appreciate any feedback.
Firstly, I didn't have an achromatic doublet lens on hand and used a microscope objective 10x lens (https://www.edmundoptics.com/p/olympus- ... ive/29222/) instead, so I don't know if that's an issue.
I also used a different glass tube, so I redesigned the cuvette holder to what you see here:
Note, this is the spectrum I got:
This is what I saw through the camera:

This is what I saw when finished calibrating the neon light
Re: Help With Acetone Spectrum Reading
The calibration looks fishy :-/ I'd say the spectrum needs to be moved to the right.
Just to check, What camera and imaging lens are you using?

Hi Luc,
I have a Navitar NMV-35M23 35 mm F/2.0 2/3" Megapixel imaging lens (https://www.mengelengineering.dk/lm35jc ... pixel.html), and a Blackfly S GigE camera.
Best,
Bowen

Getting the signal can be difficult the first time. Can you try repeating the alignment process using the two frosted disks w/ pinholes?
