Is it possible to achieve results without the focusing lens in front of the cuvet?

It will not work for sure unfortunately :-/

Fixing your cuvette shouldn't be too hard on the other side; just take an achromat lens with the proper focal length and put it in front of the cuvette where the cage plate is.

Hi, I am still struggling with the calibration part of the setup. I went back to align everything once again and went through the entire build process but I was still not satisfied with the accuracy of the calibration using a light source.

I am using the Mercury-Argon calibration light source from Ocean Insight. The published spectrum it emits is in one of the previous posts. Right now I am getting the following results:

Is there any way on how to improve the calibration?

That might be due to the distortion and the linear model. Could you send me your spectrum as .csv file ? I'd be happy to have a quick look and check if I can get something better.
